Nestled on a hillside overlooking the sea at Teluk Yu is the Craft Cultural Complex. It showcases the nation's rich craft cultural heritage. A wide collection of Malaysian handicrafts are exhibited, such as the hand—drawn batik, intricately carved silverware and the exquisitely crafted Langkawi crystal. The building is also home to the Islamic Museum, Royal Museum and Heritage Museum. There are also live demonstrations of traditional weaving methods such as songket (cloth with gold thread) and Mengkuang (pandanus leaves to create household items).
