As you enter from the Rue Célony, you find a pleasant formal garden and a haven of coolness and peace, just a few meters from the noisy traffic on the Cours Sextius. The pavilion, whose construction was ordered by the Duc de Vendôme, was built in 1665 by Pierre Pavillon. The two figures adorning the façade are by the sculptor, Rambot. The pavilion now houses some beautiful collections of 17th- and 18th-century furniture and pictures. Opened in 1978, the textile library also hosts conferences on photography and digital art. Admission is EUR2.50.
