Back to Hôtel Régent could do better I liked the way the people at the desk spent three days trying to get me my prepaid museum passes or a refund from Paris Shuttle. Not their fault, they don't do business with Paris Shuttle, for this reason. I never did get to go into the Louvre. Didn't like the tiny room which sloped down hill. A man had a heart attack in my reserved room the night before, so we got bumped into a smaller room because all his stuff was still in "our"room. Again, not their fault. I think they should have offered me a second room for free, but they wanted to charge me double. (needed two beds) Didn't like the construction zone outside. There are better hotels in the area for the price. Loved the restaurant they suggested around the corner, Vins & Terroirs. I'm going back in December just for the cheese pasta.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 16 2007 Great room, fabulous location Loved the Hotel Le Regent because of the service, accommodation and most of all location! Spent 5 nights there end of April and would definitely go back. They even let me check in early which was a great benefit on account my international flight arrived at 7 am after flying all night, and I was exhausted. Very accomodating and pleasant hotel. Bathroom larger than most, nice furnishings in room. Only downside, I asked for a queen bed and got two doubles pushed together. Wi-Fi a plus!
