This small park actually connects to the much larger and more famous Ohori Koen, making many believe that the two are the same. That is not the case. Besides management, events sponsored by the two are distinct. Within Maizuru Park, there is a decent track for joggers and walkers. It tends to have less traffic than the big track around Ohori, so if you prefer running with nobody around, you just might find that opportunity here. There is also a small stage for occasional events and plenty of open area for picnics and other activities.
