Back to Metropole Hotel Macau NOT SO GOOD HOTEL The hotel has a nice location. One thing, i hate was the bed that was too hard and my back was really aching.

Reviewed by: Walter M from on Feb 19 2008 Excellent location! Metropole has a great location, there is easy access to almost everything, from the money changers to the terrific sites and we love the local specialties just off the senado square which is just back door! Breakfast is not that fantastic but good enough for the asian taste. They have newly renovated bathrooms and clean sheets. I just hope they get rid of that peculiar smell in the hotel..must be the carpet??? Will book again, for me location is the primary consideration.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 16 2006 A Pleasant Stay We liked the location of the Metropole as we found it very convenient to all the tourist spots, bank next door. Staff were helpful and friendly, and rooms were comfortable and clean. We started with the usual uncomfortably firm beds you find in China, but when we requested softer beds, the staff cheerfully brought softer mattresses. The included breakfast was conjee, eggs, hot dogs, ham, and white bread with orange juice from powder or coffee/tea so not great but better than many. The price, comparatively - we stayed during the Asian Games in October 2005 - was excellent. Good value for the price.
