The Stadtcafé ("city café") is one of Innsbruck's biggest and most popular café-restaurants. It is located very close to the regional theater, the congress center, the old town and the Hofgarten. There are two floors and a large terrace from which you have a perfect view of the opposite Hofburg in its whole length with the mountains in the background. They serve good food and drinks, particularly noticeable is the nice salad bar. On Friday nights, there is a piano player. The Stadtcafé attracts locals and tourists, theater-goers and congress participants, people strolling through the old town or the Hofgarten, during the day and by night.
