The aim of this geological museum, situated in the Rumine Palace on the Place de la Riponne, is to educate the public about minerals. Yes, minerals! There is much to know about how they have contributed to the evolution of mankind. Okay, it is a bit deep but fun to see, in any case. The Harpe room presents evolution through the observation of fossils. The Renevier gallery has a large collection of crystals, with a space set aside for fluorescent minerals. One of the rare, almost complete mammoths to be found in Western Europe is also on display.NYC Best Hotel Deals: 50% Savings In New York!
