The Museum of Zoology's Ichthyological Collection housed at the Museum of Zoology has over 200 thousand exhibits from almost 200 families. Most of which are fish from the seas of Alberta as well as research material from Dr Joseph S. Nelson, Dr Martin Paetz and Dr Wayne E. Roberts. A wonderful display of collections this one a must visit.

This museum is mainly used as a teaching resource for students and researchers, and as a loan facility to other museums and universities. There are over 30,000 specimens stored, a computer room, and a reference library. Birds and mammals are located on the second floor, which is also home to the reference library.
