Most of which are fish from the seas of Alberta as well as research material from Dr Joseph S. Nelson, Dr Martin Paetz and Dr Wayne E. Roberts. A wonderful display of collections this one a must visit.

This museum is mainly used as a teaching resource for students and researchers, and as a loan facility to other museums and universities. There are over 30,000 specimens stored, a computer room, and a reference library. Birds and mammals are located on the second floor, which is also home to the reference library. Fish, reptiles and amphibians are on the third floor; the ground floor is the preparation centre. Admission is free.
