Karlovy Vary offers a huge selection of international films during nearly two weeks in July each year. A fair sampling of foreign stars, directors, and moguls add a touch of glamor. The town is near enough to Prague for visitors to drive or take the bus out in the morning, catch a film or two, and return in the evening. Tickets are inexpensive and highly sought-after.
