Back to A-Ma Temple Sould b there @ least once D place resembles some kind of heritage, u can easily feel d 'age' of d temple. By just looking @ d no. of people going to d temple, u will realize how much d local ppl respect d goddess.

A lot of attractions (eg. the waterpark) were closed when I visited. I think it is going downhill because it doesn't get enough visitors to keep it well maintained. If you haven't been to this park before...it is worth going to...I guess...for the sake of being able to say that you've been there.

See how the locals continue to pay their respects including the good luck turtles (who I wish were in bigger cages). Next door is a great Portuguese restaurant called A Lorcha.

Tourists interested in history and local religious customs, this is a must stop. It's a good break from the Casino's that seem to be diluting the rich culture this small enclave has to offer
