This enormous Viennese-style coffeehouse is everything one would expect from such an old-fashioned establishment - the roomy art-nouveau salon features heavy chandeliers and exotic indoor palms. A shiny black piano is the centerpiece, and offers live entertainment on Sunday evenings. Even the waiters look and act the part. Still, this is hardly your average tourist trap; exceptional coffee and cake, international newspapers and great service mean it has a respectable local clientele.
