Back to Aquarium of Niagara Wonderful Facility First off I would like to comment on the ignorance of some people. I originally signed on this page to leave positive feedback for my visit to the facility, but when I read such posts as to include the "poor conditions" the animals are house in I felt a need to respond.
Reviewed by: Mason from on Nov 28 2009 Very disappointing- will never go back Didn't like it at all. Upon returning home, we realized that it was part of our zoo membership package. When we called, the Aquarium would not refund us our money. Definitely not worth $9.50/person to see seals, I can do that at home.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 26 2009 Small...yes, but still a nice time Reading over some of the reviews I felt I had to give the opinions of someone who has visited the aquarium several times and just purchased a family membership. I have been there several times in the last couple of months with my child. Each time it is neat and clean and the displays/tanks are well taken care of. Yes it is a small building, our typical visit last about 2 hours my kid is glued to each display and visits each one several times during our trip.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 13 2009 Offensive, Insulting, Rip-off Several things should have been a sign to me not to enter, but I forged on. I immediately noticed the decrepit building when I pulled into the parking lot. Then I noticed that one of the harbor seals in the outside display had a diseased eye. Finally, there was the overwhelming fish odor right inside the door.Unfortunately, as I love aquariums, I plunked down my $10 Canadian ($9.50 USD), and entered.
Reviewed by: the_whistler from on Sep 16 2008 Very Small It's a very small aquarium. The rotten fish smell hits you right when you enter the front doors. haha. It's part of the package deal with the falls, so you might as well see it. Don't expect much though.
Reviewed by: 2Tickets2Paradise from on Jul 06 2008 Very Interesting At the aquarium you get to see a lot of animals from the water. there is shows all throughout the day and the are really cool. it is a very fun place to visit while at the falls.
Reviewed by: natasha from on Jun 29 2008 good experience for the kids I thought it was pricey at first but they did have a lot more on display than I expected. Watching the kids learn things about water creatures was very cool. The kids loved watching the sharks. They had a sea lion show. Worth the trip.
Reviewed by: Steffen from on May 06 2008 Awsome displaye A SMALL aquarium with not too much to offer, but really great place. Beautiful and clean seal show is fun with a great view. Excellent examples of some rare specimens. Whole visit was finished in about an hour.
Reviewed by: Matthew from on Mar 15 2008 Awesome The Aquarium is small, but packed with cool stuff IF you take the time to look. Don't go in the A.M. when the schools are there on field trips...Watch at least 2 Sea Lions shows....Your admission can go towards a yearly membership wich gets you free classes, touch tanks and lots more...VERY GRANDPARENT FRIENDLY! You can bring all your grandkids, all you want...and the weather is Always perfect INSIDE the Aquarium.....
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 17 2007 Lots of fun! Niagara Falls, NY is small. Other than the falls, not much going on.
