This property is loocated in a busy street that is located north of the old city. There is really nothing of interest within walking distance. Rooms are characterless and do not reflect anything "northen Thai". We thought this Novotel was certainly not a very good value for money, and expected something much better based on the rate we paid and our stays at other Novotels. It appears that this hotel is mostly geared towards package tours and with so many good alternatives inside the city, there is not much reason to stay here. And don't even ask about the local bottled water inside the mini-bar...selling at about 10X the price of the supermarket next door.
