Rated among the top 20 in Western New York, this Williamsville restaurant, located near the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, offers traditional Indian cuisine for diners looking for something different. The restaurant, in business for more than a decade, has a range of vegetarian dishes and your choice of spicing from very hot to mild. Dinner mains include murg maharaja, roasted chicken breast in an onion, poppy seed, cashew and spice gravy and vegetarian offerings like aloo tikki, grilled patties of spiced mashed potatoes mixed with green peas.

rude waiter
is was our first visit to Tandoori. The atmosphere and the food was mediocre. The curry was cold and watery. The one redeeming quality: the bread was hot, crispy, and tasty. The waiter, a non-Indian, who fit the sterotype of an obnoxious highschool jock, had a chip on his shoulder for some reason and served us plenty of thinly concealed disdain and attitude. Well, that left plenty of sour taste in our mouths. We tipped a normal amount, but I wonder if we should have not tipped at all. We won't go back there again, even if we get a different waiter. We don't need to pay to be treated like that.

BEST INDIAN AROUND
It is a FOUR STAR +. It has a wonderful atmosphere. The wait staff is knowledgable and pleasant. If you havent had Indian before or have a great love for Indian food, this is the perfect place to eat. The dress is anywhere from very casual to dressy. The dishes are reasonably priced. The ONLY complaint I have is that you have to purchase rice seperately (cost from 4.00-6.99). Ive never heard of this b4, but its WELL WORTH going to eat here. They portions are slightly smaller than an average Indian place, but the food is so rich and full of flavor that is a good portion. They give you a few Papadum (and dipping sauces) and a pakora and other appetizer FOR FREE. usually you have to pay for these, so it kinda makes up for the paying for rice dish. Eat woman get a rose at the end of the meal (even if its take out). They also give you a bowl of hot water with rose petals to dip your hands in at the end of the meal. Nice touch!!! I have been here SEVERAL TIMES and the food and service have NEVER been anything but well above any other Indian places. I recommend the Mali Koft and/or Paneer Makani. The Mali Kofta is so rich and full of flavor. The food runs a little hot/spicey, so if you do not like it that way, BE SURE TO ORDER IT MILD. FANTASTIC DINING EXPERIENCE!!!

it is FANTASTIC. The other review said it was horrible. I find this REALLY REALLY DIFFICULT TO BELEIEVE. I have eaten at MANY MANY Indian places & this is, BY FAR, the best around. IN EVERY AREA!!! I would be more than confident to recommend this place to

Horrible Service
I am from out of town and came in for the holidays. I called to order food from Tandoori's and was greeted by a man who lacked customer service. He was very rude and told me to call back in 10 mins. I waited 10 mins and called back only to receive no answer. I called back again and no answer. I think restaurants such as Tandoori's do not deserve business since they do not appreciate their customers.
