Back to Worlds of Fun Super fun! WoF is a great place to visit! The Mamba is one of the best coasters and the live entertainment is always a plus! I highly recommended visiting the park and seeing for your self. (I hold season tickets and go all the time!!)

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 04 2008 Halloween 2008 at the park We like the park because it is always clean and safe. Third year to go there with son and wife and 5 of our grandchildren. Only problem we encountered was when we went to the buffet and they didn't want to let our grandson that has food allergies bring his pizza in (we purchased it at the park). He cannot eat anything that they were serving at the buffet. What was our choice leave him outside while we ate. The lady at the gate was not very pleasant, she did let us take him in, but never really acknowledged that it was ok. We have never had a problem with this in past years. Also, when the park first opened it was free to park and there was a shuttle to take you from parking lot to front gate. Now you pay $10 and there isn't even a shuttle to take you to your car when you are all worn out. My husband and I are 65 and in pretty good health, but it was tiring to walk back to the car. It seems the park keeps charging more and giving less every year.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 03 2008 Worlds of Fun Worked there for 06/07 seasons as a Merch Ambassador. Heres what I have to say for people wanting to go there. The prices for food/drink and getting into the park are crazy. Not to mention 8-10 dollar parking. Yes, some of the workers are rude with no good work ethics what so ever. Most are teens working and don't care. For me, not just saying this either, whenever a guest would enter my shop I would try most of the times to greet them or help them in any way I could when they had questions. Wish more of the workers were like that.
Reviewed by: Liam06 from on Aug 26 2008 might not go back some of the people that worked there were very nice but other then them they don't have very nice people working there. i had some rides that my family liked. but we think there need to be more rides for the kids. alot of the time my kids just had to sit theere while there other sibblings went on rides. i didn't think that theey were very clean either. well thats just my point hope you have fun if you go there:))))
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 24 2008 A fun place!! WOF is a great place to visit. Be prepared to have alot of patience on the weekends however. LOng lines, mouthy teens, and irritable people in general probably due to heat and exhaustion. I did find alot of the workers, probably because they are teens tend to have the " I am just working, because mom said I had to" attitude. Don't take it personally lol. I would suggest the Ride N Slide tickets though. Oceans of Fun was crazy fun. It is a little pricey, but what amusement park isn't. Pack a lunch.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 22 2008 very overpriced It was extremely expensive to get in. The food, drinks, and everything else inside the park was outragously expensive as well. Do Not Use The Climbing Wall--not safe at all as the employees don't know anything about it and the equipment they use is very worn. I thought the theater shows were very fun, and there are some nice rides, but overall the experience was not one I would like to repeat.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 17 2008 Amazing! I highly recommend Worlds of Fun to anyone interested in theme parks. The park boasts five intense roller coasters, a great children's section called Camp Snoopy, and many rides that appeal to everyone. Sure, it can get pretty pricey when you think about tickets and food, but thats about average for any theme park nowadays. I've never had a negative experience on any rides, and the employees have always been very friendly. I highly recommend the Cyclone Sam's ride. It is an indoor ride that simulates the experience of being inside of a tornado. I have had more fun on that ride than any other ride at any other amusement park. The lines aren't bad if you go on a weekday, and compared to other parks, like any Six Flags area, they are the shortest ever.
Reviewed by: Jordan from on Jul 17 2008 Best in the Midwest Better than six flags Missouri, better than adventureland. The price is what you would expect at any amussment park. Alot of motels nearby. Weekday lines are short, weekends some lines will be long. The patriot is a verry short coaster, little disapointing. The mamba is great, one of the best in the country. When we are looking for a simple getaway, me the wife and kid take the 3 hr drive from NE, and stay the nite in a motel, get up early and enjoy the park. We usualy have all the rides we want to do done by 5pm, then drive home.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 15 2008 Food prices Me and family went to wof this weekend and had an ok time as far as rides go. They really need to update some more new rides but when it came to eat which on on average is twice a day and you got a wife and two kids and you get a price of $32.00 for 4 cheese burgars and 2 frys some thing is very wrong. Needless to say after the second meal and a grand total of over $100.00 just for food I think I will find other ways to have fun other than wof. Come on guy's thats just insane. Oh yea, need to keep more condiments at all times available at each food station.
