Using film tricks, light shows and extraordinary sound effects, the Story of Berlin is an innovative and unique voyage back in time. This is the history of Berlin, told as it has never been told before. Although criticised by the media for turning serious history into a Disneyland-type experience, this unconventional museum shows how history can be brought to life using 'alternative' techniques and state-of-the-art multimedia. Nowadays even 'traditional' museums are seeking more modern approaches to history. Maybe they should take a leaf out of this particular history book.
