This is the place I met my husband. We now both live in Melbourne, Australia and every time we go back to Malaysia we make a point of going here. Service and food is fantastic.

After using my VISA card at this restaurant and giving it to my waitress for a $17 USD bill, I noticed over $500 of fraudulent charges on my card about 15 days later that were from different places in Penang, Malaysia. This was almost 2 weeks after I had left the country. The last of these 3 charges was a small one to SOHO FREEHOUSE, PENANG. This confirmed what I believed to be true, that when I used my card at this restaurant, my number was stolen and my bank account nearly emptied. This was obvious to me before this as I had not used my card anywhere else during my 7 day holiday in Malaysia. I am in the process of contacting the owner of this restaurant and hopefully this will be handled appropriately. In the meantime, I would not advise anyone to eat at this establishment or at least do not pay for anything with your card there (room included).

well, one thing i like about SOHO is that this is one of the few clubs i went to that plays english R&B all night long. the atmosphere is okay though. the thing i don't like about the place is the crowd. but then it's worth going just for the sake of the musics and drinks.

it's a perfect place. i used to stay a half year in Georgtown and it was my favorite place to go out!

loved the atmosphere.The people, the music, the food and the drinks! To make things better they have just opened a 2nd floor which is bigger better and beautiful! It's the place to be!
