Audio Guide Built and opened in 1883 by local inventor Magnus Volk, this was the first public electric railway in the UK. It runs from Brighton Pier to Black Rock, near Brighton Marina, considerably more than its original quarter-mile journey. The track is right next to the beach and it is a lovely little ride along the seafront in open-sided carriages. A long running and ever popular attraction.Advt.: New Year Cruise Sale – Save Up To 75% on all lines and destinations!
