Running since Victorian times, small horse carts called jaunting cars are a great way of viewing the National Park. The jarveys (drivers) give a running commentary on the sights with a bit of blarney thrown in. You can also experience the stunning lakes and mountains with a small boat or a pony. Five tour routes are available: Ross Castle & Killarney Estate, Muckcross House & Killarney National Park, Jaunting Car Tour & Lake of Killarney Cruise, Lily of Killarney Watercoach Cruise, and Gap of Dunloe. Check their website for more details.
