The Beatles Filmed "Help" here!
And they swam in that pool, baby! I have NOT actually really been there but I have a bunch of friends and we are going without our lunch money now!

Not a place I would stay again
We were there for our thirty fourth anniversary and what a disappointment.

Unexpected fees
The hotel itself was alright, but they charged $15 per person/per night for "services" This is the first time I've ever experienced this. They also make sure you know when to leave by putting a reminder under your door that it's check out time soon...dont think I'll be staying here again.

Our Vacation Was Free of Bugs!
Yes, this hotel is showing signs of age, but the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and we had a great time at a reasonable price. Our only complaint was the 6pm closing time for the hot tub and swimming pools.

going back soon
Love the location and private beach and it was very affordable. Dislikes include waiting an hour in line to check in, and they need more staff to keep up with everything.

Last Chance for a Classic
A little background is in order to understand what's going on at this hotel and its neighbors. The three hotels (Radison, Wyndham, and Nassau Beach) have been purchaed by a single developer who intends to develop the entire area into a mega resort ("Bahamar") with six hotels and a lot of glitz. Nassau Beach Hotel is slated to be torn down as part of this renovation once the other facilities are ready.

Good value
With all the hotels to choose from on the island, this is the one I chose and will go back. Sure it's got a few problems, but overall had a very nice time and didn't cost a huge amount!

wouldn't want to stay here again
Driving up to the place, I thought WOW! Our room was even in a great location! Top floor, overlooking the beach and water.

Enjoyed our visit!
My daughter and I stayed 8 night in Nov. 2006. This is a great place to stay for the budget minded. Our check in and out was swift. Yes, there are hidden charges tacked on when you get there, (read the fine print when you booked, it's all there). I have also stayed at another Hotel in the Bahamas and had to pay these same charges, they are normal. The front and Lobby are beautiful. The rooms and hallways are rug stained, and our room was slightly run down, but the ceiling was not "falling in" nor was there "brown stuff running from the tub" or "mold all over the walls". We asked hosecleaning for bath towels and got them that afternoon. Our only complaint was that thehairdryer did not work and was never replaced for us. All in all our room was clean, did not smell, and we had maid service every day with fresh towels saop, etc. The pools were all clean, the casino was great, all the eateries were delicious, and of course the beach and ocean were relaxing. The booze cruise was a blast--be prepared to party down after snorkeling! Don't miss Senor Frogs, good food, fun place! Take the bus downtown for $1.00 each way and save cab fare. And most of all, RELAX and ENJOY!!
