This very attractive Forestry Commission site, located in the New Forest, is 5 minutes walk from the village of Ashurst. It is a level site set in a woodland glade, with areas of open ground and some shaded areas. There are 280 mixed pitches and excellent facilities, including showers, launderette, payphone and facilities for the disabled. The site is based off the A35, 5 miles south west of Southampton. It can also be reached via the railway station in Ashurst village. This is a completely dog-free site. Advance booking is available using Switch or a credit card. The campsite is closed in winter and is open from march 29 to September 25.
