Situated on Patrick Street, close to the city center, Zuni was once Kilkenny's first theater, which opened in 1902. But you'd never believe it from its very contemporary feel, and slickly-appointed rooms. The hotel has a wonderful bar popular with locals. It's located in what was once the theater's lobby and the doors looking out on Patrick Street can be folded back on a warm day to give it that European touch. There is also a large restaurant - however, the menu is not for the weak of pocketbook.
