The only self-contained mall with a supermarket within the "four avenues," which define the central city, the South City Centre is often a very busy place. Amongst the approximately 50 stores, there is a range of the popular chain stores, dominated by the Warehouse and a New World supermarket. But there are some independent businesses as well--for a taste of local seafood head for the excellent open-plan fishmongers.
