If you enjoy rich, aromatic Indian food, head down to the Rajdoot, just out of the downtown core. They offer food from all parts of India including smoked lamb, beef and seafood, all cooked in clay ovens, adding to the richness of the dining experience. On Tuesday evenings they offer a vegetarian buffet from 5p to 10p. They also offer a full selection of red and white wines.

Amazing food, Great service
My experiences at Rajdoot have always been positive. The food is consistently good and the service, excellent. The servers make sure that the water glasses are always topped up and always ask if you need something. I recommend the dinner buffet for those who can't decide from the extensive menu. It is also good for those who are new to the Indian dining experience as it provides a sample of many different dishes so you can become familiar with them. The buffet generally always includes "safe" dishes, like butter chicken, curry dal, stewed curry veggies, etc. There is also a salad bar for those who like their greens. The decor and atmosphere is always good too. Even on busy nights, when it's really crowded, it is still pleasant to dine here because everything remains low key and the buffet line flows steadily, even when its busy busy busy.
