I highly recommend this hotel we were there last summer and absolutely loved it, and we hope to return in the near future.
I highly recommend it. The only thing would probably be that they messed up our room service dinner, but thats okay. But besides that, the hotel was amazing.

Try another hotel in Cusco
Rooms are crowded and small. It was so dark and dreary. Lady in business center at night was rude and told us we lied about room number after we had been told by porter that free internet in lobby area they charged $10.00. We previously stayed in Novotel in Cusco and found this to be a much better hotel as staff were friendly and very helpful.

The best hotel ever
I LOVE it!!!!! It was clean and perfect. Our maid made a towel dog for my daughter. The siting was beautiful. Sitting on a 400 year old monastery was amazing for an archaeologist like myself. My home-schooled daughter, Madeline, said it wasn't like any of my other sites shes been to. We were digging about 10 miles a way and found a mummy. A monk by his clothes and judging from the gold on his head wrists and neck he was very special. Maybe a prophet. Well have fun at this exquisite, beautiful and friendly 5 star hotel. Maybe I'll see ya there. Oh and for archaeologists there may be more mummys/monks to discover. Bring your kids its fun for the whole family. Love,

Out of this World!
Imagine visiting South America´s oldest lived-in city, and staying in a 500 year old Monastery, sounds like a trip through time, doesnt it? That is what Hotel Monasterio is all about. The absolutely astounding Monasterio is not only a unique hotel, it is a real historical place, with a gorgeous gold leafed chappel to prove it. The wonderful service, amazing food and drinks, and the luxurious rooms with oxygen pumped through the airconditioning system, make it an A-Plus destination within an already A-Plus city like Cuzco. Though not cheap, it is very reasonable when compared to equivalent hotels in Europe or the USA, and I dont think you will find the "magic" one finds at Monasterio.

Sleep on a 400 years old Monastery!!!
There are few chances to sleep in a 400 years old Monastery that combines history and luxury. The hotel in one of a kind experince for the traveller who is looking for history at the archelological capital of america. Some of the materials used to build this monastery were originally from Inkas ruins(The hotel have tour guides that would explain the entire history). Rooms are huge and feature luxurious cuzco style furniture. Another highlight of the hotel is their incredible customer service "7 stars".
