Don't want to walk up that steep hill? Take the funicular up and walk down! At the midway point of the funicular ride, you can disembark and take the path directly north (cutting across the hill) to the Petrinske Terasy (sp?) for wonderful food and amazing views, especially at night. Fabulous.

Peaceful park allowing for stunning views of Prague. Nice to walk through on a Sunday morning, catch the wildlife - red squirrels, hares, and an abundance of bird life.

If i had to recommend visiting 1 place in Mala Strana it is petrin hill (especially in the snow) very romantic,peaceful and picturesque. Get some great photos here.
