Back to Naam (The) Why locals recommend this restaurant? I don’t why people think Naam is a treasure in Vancouver. Do they know or taste anything better? I think value meals at Wendy’s would be more satisfactory than Naam. I’ve been there few times and never found any good.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Feb 14 2008 meh I’m a vegetarian because I don’t like the taste of meat. I was looking forward to a really nice whole-food orientated, organic breakfast. But instead I saw that my choices were soy-meats. Firstly, soy-meats are really only useful for those of you wanting to wean your kids off of real meats and introduce them to soy, or have them available for family members who perhaps aren’t vegetarian, but you prefer not to supply meats in your home. Soy-meats do indeed taste like meats. Therefore, I don’t like them. Therefore, I don’t eat them. Therefore, I was disappointed to discover an entire menu based around soy-meats.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Dec 29 2007 Over rated The Naam is not organic and they do use prepackaged food. Ever seen fake meat not come in a package? The service is horrible, just because its laid back dosent mean the service has to be bad. The food does taste good but there are far better places where the staff actually cares and the food is better quality. Try Aphrodites just down the street if you want excellent quality, just off the farm, organic whole foods.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on May 08 2007 MY FAVOURITE VEGETARIAN FOOD The Naam is my favourite vegetarian restaurant in Vancouver. I have eaten there regularly for years, usually leaving very happy with the quality of the food, the value and the friendly service.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 11 2006 Good Food, Low Prices The food is great, a lot of organics and all vegetarian, with lots of vegan options. Desserts are great, although the service is slow it seems just part of the laid back atmosphere
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Dec 29 2005 YUM! It is open late, the food is escellent! I am not a vegetarian either. They have to die for cheese cake and fresh berry deserts. All meals are made with fresh vegetables, no frozen or pre-packaged stuff!
