What is not to love about Numero Uno? My partner and I were there in October 08 for my birthday and had a fantastic time! We were originally booked at the Caribe Hilton until I located Numero Uno on-line and I quickly changed our reservations. And were we glad that I did! They have a terrific, helpful staff, a great location right on the beach (we had our coffee and breakfast on the sand every morning) The rooms were very clean as was the rest of the guest house. Parking is a little tight but we had no trouble finding a spot. I would recommend this beautiful property to anyone that wants to truly enjoy everything that the wonderful island of Puerto Rico and its people have to offer! jeff&seth

For two weeks, every February for nearly 20 years I vacationed in Ocean Park's NUMERO UNO. A true escape to paradise!! Everything you will ever need is on the premises. Sparkling ocean waves by day that lull you to sleep at night. Great food, great guests and especially GREAT OWNERS who know how to make guests feel welcomed. There are lots of fancy and pretentious hotels in San Juan, but my favorite is this B&B, Numero Uno. Come see why and you'll come back year after year too! - Rebecca from Mt Laurel, NJ

The hotel is an excellent location on Santa Ana Street in Condado-right on the beach with a glorious view of the ocean; street parking is very tight if you have a rental car; the hotel is in a 3-story building with contemporary decor with friendly, helpful front desk staff; the ground floor room was nicely appointed with a comfortable bed but noise from the restaurant kitchen came through the walls throughout the day and night.

This was not the first time I have been to Numero Uno and it will not be the last. Outstanding service, clean rooms, and all the creature comforts that you have at home are there. There really is no comparison when it comes to getting the most for your money. Bravo to the owner!!! I just wish I can keep this place a secret.

What I liked the most is that I felt like I was home the employees made you feel so welcome. Coffee,pasties with fresh fruit is a wonderful way to start the day, not to mention the ocean and the sandy beach.

Numero Uno Guest House is the place to rest and relax.The staff is so welcoming and friendly,they make you want to come backagain and again.

Numero Uno's owners live atop the hotel. Maybe that's why it's so nice. We started our Puerto Rican adventure here and it was a great place to be while in San Juan. It's right on the beach and is very close to everything as it's sandwiched bwteen the casinos and old San Juan.

I Have to say that my girlfriend and I loved the numero uno it was a beautiful place to stay in San Juan PR the service was great and so was the staff especially Derek he made us very comfortable and made us feel at home I would highly recommend the Numero Uno as a place to stay.

I left my paradise when I said goodbye to Numero Uno on the Beach at Ocean Park in San Juan after spending a week there.

This place is right on the beach. If you want to experience San Juan with the locals stay here. The price is fantastic and they even have a wonderful restaurant on the premises. This is a 5-10 minute cab ride to the cruise ship and the best place to be before and after cruising. Location can't be beat and it's private so you don't have to worry about being around a lot of tourist people.
