One of four enterprises under the general direction of Alleyway Theater Inc, this Buffalo Theater District company specializes in bringing out women's voices in the performing arts, both onstage and backstage. Since its creation in 1995, the company has put on critically-acclaimed and controversial plays such as Keely and DU, and Tossing Back The Apple. Three or four plays are produced annually on an irregular schedule, in addition to staged readings. Currently performing out of the Alleyway Theater facilities, the company will move into the Upper West Arts Center upon its completion.
