La Rochelle's owner is one of the famed "Ryori no Tetsujin," a food program which has become a cult hit in America under the title "The Iron Chef." As is befitting an "iron chef," the food is some of the most painstakingly devised and elegantly presented haute cuisine in Yokohama. Like the decor, the ingredients are a mix of East and West, with fresh produce delivered daily from a contracted farm. A long list of nice French wines is available.
