One of the best hockey facilities of its type in Australia, the venue regularly hosts international matches. The centre has one water-based field (with another on the way) and one sand-based field, as well as several indoor courts, which are also used for volleyball. Food and drinks are available, while a specialised hockey shop is also on site. The fields are not usually available for casual use, however the ACT Hockey Association is based at the centre and their staff can place interested people in one of the many Canberra hockey clubs.
