Famed 19th century landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted left Buffalo a lasting legacy: the first system of parks and parkways he designed within the city limits. The six parks include Delaware, Martin Luther King, Jr., Front, South, Cazenovia Park and Riverside, making up 75 percent of Buffalo's green space. This conservancy helps preserve, maintain and promote the park system with both regular group tours and special events held throughout the year. Among the events: the Park Tour Series, and an Olmsted Fallfest and Winterfest.
