I was a bit disappointed when I reached the top. There wasn't much there and the cafe was very croweded. I did discover a hiking trail that covered the area that the original settlers crossed when they settled Christchurch. It was a nice hike but nothing spectacular.

We visited from the UK in 2000 and enjoyed our Gondola experience very much. We found it thrilling and exhilarating, so much so in fact that we returned again this year - 2007!!

Spectacular View - great walking tracks! Enjoyed the Time Tunnel experience, helps you to learn about the history of Banks Peninsula and Christchurch.
