When in Barbados, do not miss a chance to tour the famous Mount Gay Distilleries. Said to be the oldest rum in the world, Mount Gay has been in production since 1703. You will be guided through the plant where you will see the distilling process up through bottling, and then of course, guests have a chance to taste the goods. The tour ends in the Visitors Centre where you can purchase duty-free spirits. The special luncheon tour lets you sample local cooking from a plentiful buffet.
