The Perth International Arts Festival consistently dazzles audiences. It is actually a hodgepodge of festivals under one massive artistic umbrella. Venues throughout the city take part, hosting visual arts exhibitions, theater performances, club raves, as well as musical, dance and acrobatic extravaganzas. The club of choice presents blues, deep dub and trip hop and Latino acts. Festival highlights include a major outback installation by international artist Antony Gormley. Admission varies by event. Most events take place in February and March; a few take place before and after, especially the art exhibits.
