Perfection!
Just returned from my third visit to the 4 Seasons in Atlanta. It was perfection. From the minute we drove up until we pulled out, we were pampered among the cleanest facilities! We loved the large pool, wonderful Spa, and the staff that thinks of everything! While I was on the treadmill, the attendant brought me water(without asking). We went to hail a cab and they swept us off our feet in the hotel Mercedes! Kudos to a hotel that has really earned its ratings. How refreshing it is to be in a place where they take pride in what they do!

A great hospitality location
Just returned from Atlanta and my regular quarterly meeting there--I have been going for four (4) years now. As usual stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel on 14th Street. It consistently meets and exceeds my expectations and treats me like royalty. A special thank you to Robert Graney, Jr, Director of Food and Beverage and Renita Carr, Credit Manager. I have been visiting there for a number of years and they make me feel like I am coming home each time. Thanks so much!

An Honest Review
I am starting to think that most of the reviews you are reading here are posted by the hotel. The reviews make the hotel sound so much better than all the rest. I'll be honest... I live in the Atlanta metro area, and stayed at the Four Seasons Atlanta for a special occassion. The staff were very courteous and helpful - perhaps a bit too helpful. The person at the reservation desk was very nice, but to the point that she walked us to the elevator, making me feel a bit too comfortable (although a nice gesture, I'm quite capable of finding the elevator). So, overall, service was very nice. The room itself was the disappointment. For a price of $350, you can have a room with a "private" terrace. The sound of it (plus reading another person's review) made it sound quite romantic and private. It's anything but private. The person in the room above you can look right outside their window and see you, and the terrace next door is actually connected... We sat outside and there was our neighbor four feet away... not my idea of private. The view had much to be desired. If you stay, please make sure you have a view of downtown. For the price you pay, we had a view north of town. This meant we had a view of an empty lot, a few skyscrapers, and a busy street. Later in the evening we noticed a number of vagrants and thugs walking. It didn't make going out seem like a great idea. Alas, this is Atlanta, so what do you expect. The room was not in any way different than say a Marriott or Hilton chain. The television was housed in a small and aged shelf. The room itself was cramped. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows very soft, which was nice. The shower was horrible. People on these reviews refer to a large shower with ample room - not the case. In addition, I could not keep the water temperature consistently. It was absolutely scalding hot one minute, luke warm the next, and then ice cold... and it was like this over and over. So one minute, you're hopping back to avoid the scalding hot water and the next, you're hopping back to avoid getting the chills. Not an enjoyable experience. In fact, the next morning, my wife did not shower and I washed my hair in the sink. How sad is that, for a special night in the city. Until I stayed at the Four Seasons Atlanta, I had always looked at it as a wonderful, luxurious, special hotel. I work in Midtown so I had looked forward to staying there for a long time. However, I was truly disappointed for an "average" experience. I felt like I had just thrown money away and could have stayed somewhere else and enjoyed it much better. So, my advice to you - carefully read the reviews on this site and use caution to determine when a review is simply "too good to be true." In this case, I was misguided, and thus, left disappointed. I hope this helps you in your decision.

Great!
Everything was wonderful! I do not have one complaint... about any part of my stay! The rooms were beautiful! But the bathroom was best of all! I felt like I was in a palace and I was the only person there... the staff was so attentive!

Loved it!
The look, the feel... the size of the rooms. And the food is excellent. Really liked the location and got around Atlanta pretty well to all the hotspots--easy and great! I don't particularly go for city hotels, but this one was recommended and I'm glad I took them up on it.

FIRST CLASS FOOD
Food was wonderful and the service excellent. The wait time was minimal. The server was knowledgeable of the menu and specials. The prices of the Main Courses were reasonable.

Pricey place to sleep
Service may be great, and atmosphere may be plush. In fact the furnishing and even the linens on the beds are a cut above average. The carpet is very thick. But you will pay for all this luxury in the price of your room. Be sure you check the menu prices before you order room service!
