Run-down building - Overrun with kids
The Dimond Center is very popular, but not necessarily with shoppers. It is more or less a typical hang-out for teenage kids from all over town. The mall itself is run-down and dull, with the appearance of an overgrown strip-mall. The number of kids that choke the halls is staggering, yet they are not under any control. The mall would be aptly renamed, "Dimond Center High". The mall is not even a safe place because of this, with two parking lot shootings within the span of one month in early 2005. The assortment of businesses in the mall is bland, and they can all be found elsewhere in better environments. The Dimond Center's only claim to fame is that it sits on the busiest shopping block in town. A much cleaner, safer and appealing mall is the 5th Ave Mall, downtown.
