Visited this pub on the basis of the reviews I had read and I was not disappointed. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and fast. I arrived at 7.30 so we had our meal finished before the crowds arrived to listen to the live music.

Everything is great here, the food is excellent, the bands are very cool too and the mood at Fregatt is awesome. I have lived here in Budapest for five years now and haven't found a better place to go out and eat great food at the same time.

a really cool place. went there with friends from England. we spent five weeks in the Czeh republic and in Hungary. we had the best food and heard the best music in Fregatt. actually went back for the Guinness pub party again the last day before we left Hungary.

This is the best place in Budapest I have ever been to. The service was courteous, the food was great, I mean, superb! I had some of their specialities (the Nelson steak, Anchor salad and Monitor pancake), be sure to try them, they are absolutely delicious! A local favourite band was playing some cool music, no too loud, not too quiet.. it was all great.. not to mention the friendly people we met. Plus it was all reasonably priced.
