Going down Via Covignano from the city to the north, you will reach the Colle di Covignano, a delightful oasis of luxuriant green incredibly far from the sea and the roar of traffic in less than five minutes by car or 15 minutes by bicycle. As you will easily discover in looking around, this is a residential area consisting of enormous villas surrounded by gardens of large trees which obstruct the view and unfriendly "Beware of the dog" signs, the neighborhood of the very famous discotheques Paradiso and Bandiera Gialla. This is the trendy area of Rimini. Immediately after going past "Paradiso," the little street that goes up slightly curves to reveal a terrace over Rimini overlooking the yard of San Fortunato church. Needless to say that this panoramic corner is even more charming at night when is everything is plunged into darkness from Rimini to Riccione and beyond.
