This restaurant is truly a historical treasure. It opened 78 years ago, survived the war, and is still going strong. The decor has not changed much since it opened either, with wood floors, plush red and slightly worn seats, and a bright, cheery interior that will remind you of a diner. The words "English Spoken" are painted brightly on the window of this shop's slightly Russian looking exterior. Hayashi rice is the specialty here. It is rice topped with a stew made from beef and onions. Other menu items include katsudon, a filling dish made from rice topped with pork and eggs, and curry hayashi.
