Back to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area What an experience I went to red rock canyon just to see what it was like. I couldn't believe how beautiful the views are. Me and the girls really enjoyed ourselves there. That night we went and had some pole lessons at Pole Worx which was also a blast! I say check out both.
Reviewed by: Katie from on Oct 17 2009 Absolutely Awesome I just got back from Las Vegas last week and it was the most awesome vacation I have ever had. We stayed in a guest house at the Red Rock Country Club and it was amazing. The views of the mountains from our house were incredible. On Friday, the day before we left, we went horseback riding through the canyon and I have to say, other than the Grand Canyon, every picture I took was different and amazing, whether it was the mountain, the desert, the cactus, or the others on horseback, it is truly something that I will never, ever forget. I would go back in a heartbeat. This being my first visit to Las Vegas, I had no idea that there was such majesty within 10 minutes of where I stayed, thinking that Las Vegas was only about the Strip, Shows and Gambling. I was so very happy to be proven wrong. Thanks Nevada for a wonderful week.

Reviewed by: Surf from on Nov 26 2008 Worth a trip to Vegas just for this I had no idea this would affect me the way it did. When driving up to it, you see that you will be making a large loop through some rocks. but get on that loop, turn off your radio and open the windows and you are in a different world. Stunning. I wasn't prepared to get out and walk with sandals on, so I returned that afternoon with my husband and he was equally wow'd. Do get out and take a couple of paths. you will not regret it.

Reviewed by: Isa from on Oct 14 2008 Red Rock Canyon Rocks! This is a beautiful area on the outskirts of Vegas that I visit frequently. You can hike or mountain climb here, or just simply take a drive around the loop and stop off at the viewpoints for a spectacular view. I highly recommend hiking one of their 15-20 trails they have available. They range in difficulty and distance (easy to difficult and 1/4 mile to several miles). I also recommend you visit the Visitor's Gift Shop since it also has a ton of educational information and a mini museum inside. Visit this first though, since you can't access it once you drive past it.
Reviewed by: HeatherB from on Jul 31 2008 Red Rock Given how close you are to Vegas, Red Rock is a surprise. I enjoy getting out and doing things where ever I go and Vegas is no exception. The chance to hike around the many well kept paths and route in Red Rock should not be missed. You can even take one route to the top of a rock formation and see the entire strip and Stratosphere Tower! It is a fabulous place not to be missed (and it is virtually free!!!).
