The first Wasabi Bistro opened in Honolulu, Hawaii. The local manager, a former deluxe hotel head, is no stranger to the dining preferences of the cosmopolitan crowd. Here you can enjoy good food (contemporary Japanese with Californian influences), while indulging in the art of people-watching from a modern minimalist Japanese setting. The top-selling item on the menu is white fish, crabmeat and avocado in a special sauce (a fiercely guarded secret). Also recommended are the oven-baked scallop special and soft-shell crab rolls. Comprehensive drink list.
