This is without doubt the most important cultural event in Rimini, which takes place every year at the end of October in the Novelli theatre. The indisputable value of this event stems from the importance of the themes tackled during the three or four days of workshops and meetings, and from the profile of the international actors called on to participate. The festival, organized and promoted by the Pio Manz Rearch Center, has featured themes such as world wealth and poverty, national geo-political changes, the economy of tourism, public health, scientific research and its relationship to communication and society. Particiants come from all over the world to enjoy discussions on Rita-Levi Montalcini, Gerald Edelman, Oliver Sacks, Luc Montagnier, Dario Fo and Franca Rame, Michail Gorbacioev, and Yasser Arafat to name a few.
