I stayed at this hotel for 13 months, mostly consecutive. My company paid for it and I had a choice between the Westin, Sheraton and the Hyatt.

This is a fairly new and nice hotel. Middle of the road. Very small lobby, typical hotel rooms. What bothers me is that it claims to be a 6 star hotel (if there is such a thing) and it is a true 3 star or maybe a 3.5 star hotel. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It has nothing to do with Westin's heavenly bed. And by the way, I stayed at a suite. Food at the restaurants definitely need improvement, it was rather disappointing. This is so unusual of Asian hotels where people actually go to the hotel restaurants to eat.

I stayed here for a couple of nights on business. I found the rooms felt a little tight, like in many densely populated cities, but generally very elegent. The restarants are very good. I felt the place was a little pricey even though my comany paid for it (I had to explain the expense report). Service was good. Location was close to the offices I was working out of so that was a plus for me.

The service is terrible, internet at the room is not working, and décor is so so consider its a 4 starts hotel. I can only compare it with somewhat Holiday Inn and its a disappointed experience for me.

i have a "club room" that include breakfast and snacks. I thought the hotel was super great, but not cheap. My internet high-speed works fine. the beds are great.

First off, check-in did not run smoothly. I waited for 25 minutes to check-in because the front desk had problems checking in the person before me.

My experience at the Westin Taipei was probably the worst I have ever had at a hotel. I do NOT recommend this hotel. There are much better values in Taipei, such as the Sherwood Hotel or the Hyatt.

The hotel is broadly very good, the staff are very helpful and friendly and speak excellent English. The room-service menu is average, but there's lots of choice in restaurants throughout the hotel and local area. I marked this down to 3 stars because the Internet service in my room was not functional during my entire stay, despite numerous visits from technicians, but full marks to the apologetic staff for trying so hard to fix the problem.
