Nice, but...
Personally, I like the Pelican. I love their Jerk Chicken, but their dumplings are awfully made (very soggy - they need someone just to make dumplings). I tried Snappaz Restaurant in Whitehouse, Montego Bay and the food is delicious, and the price is GREAT.

Absolutly perfect!!
I liked that the food was fresh tasting, the service was friendly and fast. The ambiance is a little "dinerish" (diner style), but the overall dining experience is reasonably priced and absolutly delicious. I have been to the Pelican each time I've vacationed in Montego Bay, and have tried virtually everything on the menu, it's perfection everytime!!!

Just a great little restaurant
The Pelican has been around for many years, and a visit there tells you why. Great menu, lot's of local foods. Very good service. The owners are almost always on site. The staff seems to like their job. We keep going back time after time.

Nice Place but Pricey
This restaurant had the nicest regular dining ambiance of all we visited. But I belf prices were high for what we received. My curry shrimp was excellent but my wife's steamed white fish was terrible. Wine was over priced so we didn't drink but the tab still came to $40 U.S. They seemed to have more local business than other restaurants.

Great Family Restaurant
Whenever I go to Montego Bay, I have lunch/dinner at The Pelican as much as possible. It is a great family restaurant. I enjoy socializing with the locals. Good prices and great food. Love the shrimp platter the best! The service is good, however, the food does come out rather slow, but it is worth the wait.

Its an OK place
I am not sure why people are praising this place. We found it just OK. they can improve on service and quality of the food. The location is good but the food is not the best.

I Loved it There
I loved everything especially the food, sights and the guys. It was fun for my kids and I. I hope we can visit there again. My kids were delighted and happy to be away from home. I was too.

I Love this Restaurant
I went to The Pelican about two summers ago and I can still taste the jerked chicken. The food & the service was fantastic. I can't wait to go back.

Three times and still wanting to go back
The Pelican is an extremely clean, family owned restaurant. The waiters are very polite. The food, especially the soups were great. Generally a very well maintained and reasonably priced restaurant, probably the best in Montego Bay

I want to go back!
We have been to Jamaica a number of times but years ago we went and we went to Pelican Grill and I promise everyone that they have the most delicious Coconut Pie ever. I am 65 now and I have NEVER had one as wonderful as Pelican Grill's.
