Lack of Customer Service - All the way around
It took me three days to get through to make a reservation. I would call and give it 15-20 minutes per call and then move on - I have work to do. The pricing was okay, but the saying you get what you pay for is still off! The hotel had no HOT Water and were never pro-active in offering any type of compensation. It took me over a week or better to get a copy of a receipt with a zero balance as I was so in a hurry to leave I forgot. They only offer buffet in the dining room and breakfast is so not worth the price. My room had so many broken items that I didn't understand the pricing (discount or not). My room smelled dirty, looked dirty and probably was dirty. I can assure you that I will never stay at this hotel again, conference or no conference. I was embarassed.

Bait & Switch...Horrible!
In the South Tower, you're gonna get peeling ceiling paint, peeling wallpaper, dirty carpet & shredding, mold & mildew windows, dirty toilet, broken closet door...70's decor. Could not touch anything and the thought of my child breathing in mold & mildew...UNACCEPTABLE!!! Complained and got a room in the North Tower...much better but the room was small. However, we ate at two restaurants in the hotel took 20 minutes to take our order then another 45 minutes to get our food. Waiting over an hour for an appitizer and kid's meal was not good service and the place had a few costumers. 3:30a.m. FIRE!!! Had to go down 24 flights of stairs with my child...was the WORST experience ever!!! Still waking up in the middle of the night thinking I smell smoke...:-( Will tell everyone I come in contact with, my friends from Cali to New York about this horrible experience. Check your bill before leaving...added charges I had to get corrected. Will NEVER stay there again!!!

South Tower is not good!
My two sons, ages 8 and 13, and I stayed for a weekend getaway. We are from the area so, we're familiar with downtown St. Louis. We chose the Millenium based on a great AAA room price with parking paid. Good thing because if I had paid more than the 69.00 room rate I would have been very unhappy. As it was, carpeting in the room was wet...damp, smelly and just gross. Had to keep reminding kids to wear flip flops in the room. Bathroom had signs of mold in corners. Staff was friendly and room service was good. Indoor pool, in the South tower, was dirty. The water had a 'viscosity' that I know is bad news in terms of bacteria. Outdoor pool was much better and wouldn't you know, on the North side. Big divide in the quality of stay between the two sides. Pay more and stay in the North.

Sleep in a dumpster before you book a room here!
DO NOT stay in this hotel! Stay in a motor lodge, camp in a tent, sleep in a dumpster before you book a room here. How does it offend thee? Let me count the ways...

I have been to better motels
It was noisy right next to the interstate, even at the 18th floor. Queen size suite was not a queen size bed. The front desk staff was friendly, and the bar was nice, but the room was not the best.

Won't go back!
The only good thing about this hotel was the location!! Rooms are very plain and small. Housekeeper forgot to come one day. Food at fourth street cafe not great. Had breakfast vouchers but toast was burnt everyday!! Lobby is very deceiving because it looks nice but rooms are aweful!! Indoor pool is very small. Very disappointing.

Family trip that ended early do to this
The indoor pool was dirty and very small. Only about five people could be in it at a time and still have room to swim. Our room was SMALL and very out dated. There was a electrical outlet pulled out of the wall. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. The walls were dirty. The cups in the room looked like they hadn't been washed since the last guess. There was mold on the end table and there was mold and a big brown stain on one of the bed skirts. We were there with our daugther who has asthma and has allergies to mold. When we conplained to the front desk they did nothing. Instead of spending the day in St. Louis. We got in the car and went home. NEVER AGAIN will we stay there. There are places cheaper and alot nicer then this.

Stay somewhere else
I was there this past week on business travel. I'll just get right into what went wrong. The rooms are average. Rooms - While they tried to renovate them they are still noticeably dingy. The power outlets in my room did not work, so I had to move the sofa chair to get to the back of the ones that did. Their central air system is either hot or cold (not your choice). There are posted instructions on how to work the thermostat in your room. In the fall or winter they have the heater on, spring and summer they have the AC blowing. In between (like right now where some days it’s one extreme or another) you may want to let them know. They will bring you a portable heater like they did for me.
