Back to Faneuil Hall Marketplace Lots of fun! Amazing eateries. The market place is enjoyable, even if you don't buy anything! The old timey feeling in the actual hall really takes you back to the 1700's Worth not only your money, but also your time. I have had an enjoyable experience each time I go!!!!!

Reviewed by: Frankie from on Dec 24 2008 Head over on a weekend This place is amazing! I stopped here briefly on a Friday while I was following the Freedom Trail. I headed back Saturday and was glad I did. First of all, this place is way bigger than I had imagined. Second, on a Saturday this place was packed. There were easily over a thousand people between all of the markets. There were also a lot of street perfomers. On the weekend this is a great place to grab a coffee and people watch for hours.

Reviewed by: OliverC from on Dec 31 2007 Always brings me back! I lived in Boston for a little over a year and this was the place to be after dark. There is a lot to do during the day, e.g. shopping etc, but it really gets busy at night. The night life is incredible here. If you are wearing of crowds of 20 somethings being somewhat loud and sometimes obnoxious after 10pm.. I'd stay away if I were you. It gets really busy between the bars and the restaurants around the area. I recommend Adam's Convenience store which is also a pizza joint for the best chicken pizza ever! The Oyster House is fabulous but very pricey. Ned Divines is a great spot with 3 different rooms on 2 floors for live music, dancing, or just sitting at the bar. My favorite place is the Bell In Hand.. American's oldest tavern. You gotta go early before it gets really busy. Hennessey's is also an old favorite so check that out too.. So much to do in one night you wouldn't believe it! :)
Reviewed by: She-la-la-la from on Nov 19 2007 Absolutely Incredible! Being the history geek that I am you can imagine how exciting it was to visit the town where it all began. I am from the south and while there is much history there; it just doesnt compare with that era of time which Boston possesses. Visting the grave of countryman, patriot, Samuel Adams...WOW!! Paul Revere's house, Fenway Park....name it!! I love your city and will plan on making more time to see it all some day.

My favorite is the delicious lobster or shrimp rolls from the Boston & Maine Seafood Co. They are fabulous! One could spend an entire day shopping & eating in this unique marketplace. There is something for everyone here & it's definately a place to visit.
