Wonderful staff.Free breakfast is awesome.Right on the plaza close to night life,museums,famous fountain and great shops.Car safe in underground parking.The indoor pool was kinda run down,but the steam room and sauna worked well.Great view of the city from the weight room deck and patio.This is a good bargain and nice hotel.

i don't know what else to say, even the breakfast was awesome. Everyone who worked there was very helpful and we had a great room overlooking the plaza.

liked the restaurant in house, the outside balcony off the exercise room. Close to the cathedral, shopping right on the street exit, fast food. Night life in walking distance.

Well last year this hotel gave each person a free drink at night. They also were a little better with security in the pool area. This last trip at 8pm we found drunks with beer in the pool area and staff did nothing. The also do not have the maid come in the clean pool area before it opens. Also the steam room, and dry sauna did not work. Much of equipement in gym does not work.

THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME STAYING IN MONT. AND I WOULD SURE LIKE TO STAY AT HOWARD JOHNSON AGAIN. THE LOCATION IS ALSO GREAT BECAUSE IT IS EASY TO ACESS THE MAIN STREET THAT TAKES YOU TO ALOT OF PLACES IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA.

The hotel is clean, the help is excellent. They speak English. The breakfast buffet was unexpectedly excellent. It is located right in front of the Gran Plaza which is bustling with activity at all hours. Excellent experience.

5 Stars Plus!! Wonderful hotel in a great location in Moneterrey. It is easy to find restaurants, shopping & the Metro system within walking distance of this hotel. Very safe area of Monterrey.

I loved the location. Really gaves us a mexican and friendly atmosphere. The staff were a great accet to the hotel.

We were visitning Monterrey from Philadelphia and had the best experience while staying at the Howard Johnson. The service was great and the location coould not have been better. We also had several meals at the restaurant and really enjoyed the food. We would highly recommend this hotel and would use it again!The Boyer's

The service was over estimated and the facilities were not up to a 2 star hotel. I stayed with my family there and I would not recommed it to anybody with a family.... It was too loud and the location was not very safe... it's in the middle of the night life...
