Will never return:Disgusting!!!
I just returned from 7 days at the Rosedale via PTP Destinations. The room ( a suite) looked NOTHING like the pictures. It was dirty and dingy. The bathroom was moldy and dirty. The floor's veneer was peeling and they put down area rugs to cover it up which looked like they needed a good cleaning. The coffee pot had grinds in it from past occupants. The garbage cans were yucky. When I complained I was told that this is the only room available through PTP Destinations and that they put certain rooms aside for them. Probably the ones they don't want to clean or upgrade. When I spoke with a PTP representative, which is located aross the street from the Rosedale, the person, Cheryl Arnold, (she told me that she's the manager, although her business card states "Director") was so disinterested in my concerns and basically said too bad we are not going to locate a clean room for you at the Rosedale. Her response was also that there are "very few timeshares in Vancouver", so make do.She was so bored with my complaints about the room that I felt like I was keeping her up.

Worst Hotel in Vancouver
We stayed here for one night and were greeted by unfriendly staff who never asked to help us to our room or anything, even though we had tons of luggage. The rooms are extremely out-dated, dirty, and uncomfortable. They promote this hotel as "luxury suites", but it is neither of the two, or anything close to it. Upon check-out, the girl didn't have the audacity to tell us she over charged our credit card by hundreds of dollars, and even if she didn't realize it until later, they had our phone number and could of easily contacted us to confess their "mistake". We spent hours of our very little vacation time straightening this out, but it was still ruined. DON'T patronize a phony hotel like this one, otherwise you might end up getting scammed like we did.

Outstanding Promotional Rates
Stayed there March 31/09. The staff at the front were all dressed in Canuck uniforms and very helpful. Though it was very busy, the staff was able to get us to our suite in about 15 minuets. We were there for a Timeshare promotion for 2 nights and tickets to the Canucks that night. The tickets were presented to us at the front desk, without even doing the timeshare tour.(tour was on Sunday morning). This resort is walking distance to most downtown attractions, and we left the our car in the garage the whole time. After the tour on Sunday, we also received a $50 visa card as a thank-you. We had lunch at Rosies Grill in the hotel. The staff made us feel right at home, and the food was excellent! We will go on another timeshare tour if thats how they are all done, with out a doubt!

Security at this Hotel is Awful!
Security of your auto when you travel is of utmost importance! The Rosedale on Robson does not feel this way as anyone can have access to the parking garage and in a city where car breakin's are a reality, you would think the management of this hotel would make it harder for thieves to have access. This is the first hotel in Vancouver where our car was broken into in over 30 some years!

Enjoyable stay
A good place to stay, within walking distance of many attractions. Clean and comfortable. We had booked a double room, expecting a double bed but got twin singles but were able to change rooms.

rosies is a really good value for money hotel ,right in "the thick of things"we have now stayed there on 5 or 6 occasions, they even remembered the comment about "BRITS"needing boiling water for tea and on subsequent visits left a kettle in the kitchen. We found all of the staff very attentive and cheerful.unfortunately we were unable to obtain a room for our visit in august 2007,which must say something for its poularity

bit slack
we arrived at 7-oop.m. for a 2.oop.m. check in and the room was not ready, The boys at the front door stood talking and then watched me load my luggage on to the trolley and I took it the room I was offered no assistance. The breakfast room did not have enough chairs and ran out of tea and milk.

Better the second time!
We stayed here in Sept 2006 for a night before we joined our tour and hated it! We were on the 3rd floor and the receptionist was cool and disinterested in even talking to us. It was poorly furnished lightlocked ( no windows in the living area)and dark and the kitchenette was old and scruffy.

Definitely we'll stay at Rosedale again
This hotel is the best option for the money. I went on vacation there with my parents and my sister. We stayed in a two-bedroom suit. It was roomy, confortable, clean and definitely worth the money we paid. In addition, the hotel takes a AAA discount. The location is excellent. We were able to walk to any part of the city from there. It is also right across from the Vancouver library which is a work of art. If you want great shopping, entertainment, comfort and restaurants, stay at Rosedale on Robson. You won't be dissapointed!
