The "Municipal Museum" exhibits artifacts, which tell the history of the city. Personal items, objects, documents, maps, and testimonies of Varadero's historical moments and the people and patriotic figures who helped shape, them are displayed here. The architecture of the museum is reason enough to visit. Visitors admire the traditional architectural style found throughout the island, which uses wood and vibrant colors bursting out from its surrounding tropical gardens.
